Late July- Early August 2004
Wet
and warm - joggers and cyclists with soaked shirts pass me by.
The camera lens and eyepiece become fogged. The humidity makes
the area feel dense.
I
haven't complained enough about the brutal landscaping that was
done recently in the area I photograph. A bulldozer wiped out
many maturing plants with no apparent regard for the effect on
the system. On one level, I consider this human activity as just
another element in the complexity of variables that affect the
park, but c'mon, how about a little grace and humility.
